Oh ASOS...

I got a paper in the post that I had to go to our Post office to get a parcel...When I get there I was in shock... Like what the f*** have I bought... wasn't it just some nail polishes.....

This 40 x 30 cm parcel greeted me at the post office. I got home and opened it, and what do I find...2 small boxes where the 5 nail polishes I have bought was in and I could put all of them in this 12x 12 cm box, the rest of the things in the BIG parcel was plastic to fill it out... WHAT A WASTE OF A BIG PARCEL.... don't you have smaller things to put the items in, ASOS?????

 Well this is what I bought... Models Own - Disco Heaven, BarryM - Blue Plum (Gelly polish) and Croc Effects and OPI - The Living Daylights and Goldeneye.

Rearranging my Helmer

In September my friend Sara and I went to a big shopping center, in one of the corners they have IKEA...so I bought a Helmer (read about it here). I then ordered my polishes after colour, I thought that was a smart idea... well not long after I changed it again (!). Now I have them in brands instead... much easier.

So here comes my pics of my new arrangement

I think H&M was the first place where I bought my own polishes, the roundish ones (and not using my mums). And I really like O.P.I, but as I have written earlier here in the blog is that a bottle costs 150 kr (about $ 23 !!!!!)

Well I dug up all my Blue nail polishes from my Helmer and here they are.

I took the pictures with the only sun I have seen in a long time... just a half hour later it was gone and the sky was grey and it started to be a very thick white fog amongst the houses. That's autumn in Sweden.

Sunglasses and moustache design

Hello all,
so today I made a design that my friend Ida requested... well actually 2 designs. Moustache and Sunglasses...

 First mouth, nose and eyes, then sunglasses, moustache and then another pair of sunglasses

And on my thumb I did a eye

And then the colours... Back at noon from H&M and Kiss black Nail Art Paint.

Midnight sky

I used Papagayo Blue 732 from IsaDora and Antique Gold from H&M and a sponge. I painted the nails all blue, 2 layers and then with the sponge I dabbed the gold polish on to the blue so that it looks like a sky with million stars.

Outrageous neons by opi

I bought Outrageous Neons from OPI at ASOS. They weren't expensive so it was OK. On the package it said to paint your nails with one layer of white base polish (which felt like painting my nails with tippex, sorry to say that :( .....) and then 2 layers of the neon colours. Even if I painted with 2 layers the white was showing through. The problem with minis, in my opinion, is that the brush is so small and it don't cover the nails nicely. I did like the colours, cos it's really NEON :) but I think I need them in a BIG bottle with a big brush...

Review and swatches of German-icure by OPI

Some weeks ago I bought some polishes from eBay and I order one of the colours from the Germany collection. On OPIs own homepage it looks more purple, so first I was a little disappointed about the colour

but now I actually like it alot since it goes so well with the autumn colours. It's still purple but it's more dark purple with a  hint of brown or gold...I had to paint my nails 2 times to get it nicely covered..

On Tuesday afternoon after I got my package of OPI I went to Uppsala to have class at the UNI, since I was a little bitter over the fact that one of the bottles where broke, I took a little detour to H&M before school..

I have for a long time searched for a white polish, not one that is used just for French manicure, which tend to have a thinner brush, but one that can be used for all kind of designs.

Review and swatches of OPI Pink of hearts 2012

So this is how the OPI Pink of Hearts 2012 should look like....well not in my case (read my previous  blogentry and you will understand).This is a pic of how mine looked like when it came with the mail... *breath Dani breath*

Yeah I'm still not happy about it :( just looking at the pictures make me sad. The bottle of  "I think in Pink" was destroyed and all the varnish was outside the bottle. At least "You glitter be good to me" was intact

Here I did swatch (do you say that in English ?!?) You glitter be good to me and I also tried it on my nails... I didn't have any other nailpolish under and after a few days it didn't look good, big chunks of it was gone after I took a shower.. To be honest I think I like the "normal" OPI polishes better then their glitter ones..

and this is my I think in pink bottle. There was a little bit of nailpolish still in it but it dried faster than fast and it was so little in it that it wouldn't even cover my nails on one hand.. I cleaned it and I will save it as a reminder..

OPI : Pink of hearts 2012

Apparently it's not my week or soo... first my computer crashed, then my granddad died and now this shit..

I orded OPI Pink of hearts 2012 from eBay and a seller in Florida... Got it today and it smelled of nailpolish I knew that something was wrong... AND PRESTOOOOO I think in Pink was broken and it was pink polish in the whole package (both in the plastic package where the polish where and the envelope)...

I just can't take anymore crap this week... I have mailed them and will wait and see what they say, but if I don't get my money back or a new polish someone is getting a negative feedback on eBay...

I got a mail from someone at the place I bought it and the refunded $ 8 of the $ 27 that I paid back to my Paypal.... and then they still got the nerve and write in the end "Please give Positive Feedback".... WHAT are u dumb or what.. No way in hell I'm giving you Positive Feedback when the things I buy are damage :(

Problems

My computer decided to not work anymore on Sunday morning... :( so I went to the store where I bought it and waited and waited until yesterday. They said it was never gonna work again but I went to the computer nerds at the Uni and one of the guys just called me and said that he had rescued all my files :)

That's why I haven't blogged this whole week.. I will as soon as I get my computer going again.. right now I'm writing to you from my mums computer..

Gangnam Style

So I saw this picture of a tutorial of a Gangnam Style nail polish design when I was searching for new tutorials.

The design was made by cutepolish, so of course I search up her video in youtube :) And now I did the design *my way* on my nails... yes, not as perfect as hers but hey I'm not good at this...

and here are all the colours that I use: BarryM - 929 Navy, BarryM - 290 Spring Green, French Manicure from Yves Rocher, Depend - 087 pink, Yves Rocher white, H&M - Nail him, models own - 095 Juicy Jules, Depend - 223, Kiss nail art paint - SPA12 Black, H&M - Lemon Tree and H&M - Clear. And also my dotting tool :)

Nails by request: Pikachu

My friend Ida wanted me to do several designs and one of them where Pikachu from Pokemon...

 So yesterday when I was quite tired and angry on my German teacher and all the things she wants us to do, I took a break and did my nails.. It's only 3 colours! I used "Lemon Tree" a yellow colour from H&M, a black polish with a thin brush and a red dotting polish. I'm not that satisfied with the result... well I just have to blame on the above anger and also the irritation I had to a small fly that was circulating around me the whole time I painted the nails....

gave me some nail polishes yesterday. It was a thank you gift since I helped her to practice for the tryouts for the cheerleading group here in our town... and yes she made it to the group :)
