Yesensy, new polish and gradient

 Today I painted with a new polish and a new brand for me.. Yesensy from Spain I think. Unfortunately it doesn't have any name nor number so I can tell you which one to buy, if you like it. I think it's a dupe of OPI' s Lucky Lucky Lavender, I have to compare them later on to see it they are dupes.

Yesensy, I think, is a very good polish. I panted two layers and it was perfect covering and no problem painting.

Just because I was bored I also did, I tried, to yet again do a gradient with some purple polishes. I don't know about the end result, still needs some improvement working with a make up sponge to do gradient... 

L.A. Colors - Berry Red

Notd should perhaps be fnotd (FootNailOfTheDay) since this contains my feet in the pic.. I used L.A.Colors Berry Red a polish I bought at Rays in Garberville, California last year on our west coast trip.. It's a very bloodred nailpolish that is very nice!! . .

OPI - 4 in the morning and China Glaze - Electrify

I did yet another combo with glitters... I liked the last one so much that I needed to do yet another. But this time it's a more autumny look to it and it kinda reminds me of Thanksgiving and Halloween, I know many months left but yeah...

For this darker combo I used OPI's 4 in the morning from the Gwen Stefani collection and Electrify from China Glaze and the Hunger Games collection ( I think...)

I started off with 2 layers of 4 in the morning a dark grey, cuz it's not black, and then I added some layers of Electrify.

Orly - Choreographed Chaos & Nails Inc - Royal Arcade

Well now after arriving home from UK with all my new polishes and not being able to do a proper manicure for this 3 weeks I fought it was time to make something really "summery". So I used the new Orly polish that I bought in Bath that's called Choreographed Chaos, which is a really neon pink color that this picture do not show :( , I also added another polish from UK (I bought it back in 2012, I think)... Royal Arcade in Sapphire from Nails Inc.

I liked the clash of the neon pink and the blue glitter, hope you also liked it  :)

UK Haul from Primark, Poundland, H&M and TK Maxx

I have totally forgotten to upload what I bought while working in UK this summer ... I came home  like a week ago.

Lower big picture is all Primark in Oxford and all £1/each since it was all on SALE... Got Dat Thang, Meltdown, Beat Box and Respect from the Hello Kitty collection and also a Denim Effect and a blue Caviar nailpolish with the beads
 
Then upper small picture it's Poundland again and Rimmel Brit Blue and Sally Hansen Sugar Coat in the colour Cherry Drop for £1/each

 From H&M I bought Shanghai Nights and Pink Mist for £1/each, since it was on sale.

Two brown dupes ?!?

Today when I went thru my polishes I saw that I have some browns that are kind of the same color.
It's OPI A-Piers to be tan from the San Francisco collection from last autumn 2013 and Pieces Nature Brown from the Vero Moda stores. As you perhaps can see from the pictures about there is a sight difference. Nature Brown is more green in it and A-Piers to be tan with a more red undertone. I painted A-Piers to be tan on my ringfinger on the above picture and the other nails with Nature Brown.

Sorry that I haven't posted in a while... I was in Oxford from the 28th of June to the 18th of July and this Monday the 21st I started working again home here in Sweden.. I have had some different manicures during this time but I haven't had time to take pictures of it. This is actually my thumb nail that, in the last minute, I remembered to take a picture of today when I was almost finished removing this to do another mani. 

It's Shanghai Nights from H&M that I bought in Oxford for only £1 and  Chaotic from the Formula X series from Sephora. I painted Shanghai Nights already when I was in Oxford and then i added the Chaotic when I got home . I used my Iphone 4s and a olloclip to take this picture with the macro lens.

Primark haul

Yesterday I went to Primark and oooops they had reduced price on some of their nail polishes soo I bought some. 

It's the 4 nail polishes from the Hello Kitty collection: Beat Box, Got Dat Thang, Respect and Meltdown

Then also Denim effect and a blue Caviar nail polish. And all was £1/each so only £6.

Gwen Stefani and Mariah Carey mani

Today I'm going to the airport, Arlanda, cuz tomorrow I'm flying to UK with 16 kids that are going to Cambridge or with me to Oxford to study English for the next 3 weeks. So since I bought some polishes yesterday I thought it was good to also use them in a mani so that my nails would look nice at least the first couple of days. 

I used 4 in the morning from the Gwen Stefani collection on all my nails except the ring finger where I painted with Push & Shove from the same collection, then I also added some of the round glitter from I snow you love me from the Mariah Carey winter collection. 

Gift from my co-worker and a nice SALE

Today I finally walked over to my ex co-worker, she lives like 5 mins from me, she sent me a message on Facebook wondering if I wanted this package of Ciaté caviar manicure. How could I turn that offer down, she didn't want it sooo....

After picking up this sweet little thing I went for a walk to the city center , another 5-10 mins walking from my ex co-workers house, and what do I find when I arrive at Kicks... A sale and they have some of the "new" OPI nailpolishes from the Gwen Stefani collection that came out this year... 

So I bought "4 in the morning", "I sing in color" and "Push & Shove" (which also comes with a Base coat polish in a small bottle). The bottles where half price so I thought it was totally ok to buy them.

Glass Nail File

Today while going with my mother for shopping, since I needed to buy some things before my trip to UK, I came across a pretty cheap nail file in glass.. I have always heard that I shouldn't use a "normal" file but one in glass since it was better. So I bought one to test if I liked it or not. 

And of course I bought one that was pink.

Sinful Colors - 102 Purple Diamond

Today I painted my nails with 102 Purple Diamond from Sinful Colors, this is like 2-3 layers and it is still quite shear. I think I have to paint a base first or more layers to make it more visibly. 

One Direction nails

Tomorrow, Friday the 13th of June I'm going to my first One Direction concert. And of course I wanted to have some nails that fits for the occasion

So this is the pic I uploaded to Instagram but I did also take pictures with my other camera. 

As always my left hand is always better looking then my right hand.

  On my left hand I painted the 1D-logo on my thumb with a red base ( NailsInc - Will) and then I drew the rest with a black nail art polish. On my index finger I did Zayn's ZAP tattoo (like it was before he made the red black). I started with a white polish as the base and then with red, yellow and black nail art pens I did the rest. On my middle finger i started of with a white base and then I took a green polish and a dotting tool to make the Irish shamrock. On my ring finger I started with blue base and then with a white and red nail art pens I drew the Union Jack. On my pinkie I started with a white base and then I drew Liam's chevron tattoo that he has on his right arm.

On my right hand I started with a spoon on my pinkie finger, since Liam is afraid of spoons, just painted a white base and then with a dotting tool and silver nail polish I drew out the shape of the spoon. On my ring finger I started with a white base and then I made a red french manicure tip (as a pair of Louis trousers) and with a light blue nail art pen I did the horizontal lines on the t-shirt and with the black one the suspenders. On my middle finger I started with a white base and then I made a carrot using orange and green nail art pens. On my index (as always ) a white base and then I made a banana using yellow nail art pen. On my thumb I started with white base and then with green and orange (the green is Toxic Apple from Models Own and the orange is Essence - hello summer!) I made the Irish flag.

Pink and Green combo

After yesterdays cleaning and color coordinating my polishes in my Helmer drawers I decided to paint my nails in a pink and green combo.

I used China Glaze - Purple Panic and OPI - Amazon...Amazoff

And as always the colors are off... Purple Panic is a neon colored nail polish that  screams PINK

I store them in 3 Helmers from IKEA. (no no no, they are not full, but I like to have them in brand order or same colors in one drawer).

This time I took them all out to organize them in color.
