Swirl

Yesterday after the nailwarps came off my nails I did something I had seen a while ago. The swirl using  3 different polishes and a toothpick. I used Taupe from H&M, Germani-Cure By Opi from OPI and a black nail art pen from Kiss Nail Art Paint.

I started off by painting my nails with Taupe and then making crosses with Germani-Cure By OPI and the black nail art pen and with a toothpick doing swirls from the center off the nail to the edges so that the different nail polishes mixed. I think I turned out really nice, on my thumb but not on the other nails. I think you can only do this on short or middle length nails coz when they are the length I have now, on almost all my nails, then it's to long and the polish starts to dry and then the design won't be nice.

Two brown dupes ?!?

Today when I went thru my polishes I saw that I have some browns that are kind of the same color.
It's OPI A-Piers to be tan from the San Francisco collection from last autumn 2013 and Pieces Nature Brown from the Vero Moda stores. As you perhaps can see from the pictures about there is a sight difference. Nature Brown is more green in it and A-Piers to be tan with a more red undertone. I painted A-Piers to be tan on my ringfinger on the above picture and the other nails with Nature Brown.

Pieces from Vero Moda stores

I went to Vero Moda in my city to see if I could find a pair of black skinny jeans.. mine are more then 10 years old and are starting to, well break is the only word to use...

But I couldn't find any jeans that I liked...I did however stumbled across some nailpolishes since they had mid-season sale... (a lot of clothes where on sale, some accessories and then nailpolish).
I bought one of each color that was on sale, they only cost 10 kr (Swedish Crowns) each.. Which in Sweden is a damn fine bargain!!!

From left to right: Dusty Green, Light Sand, Khaki Green, Wine Red, Mocca, Nature Brown, Lime, Sailor Blue and Midnight Blue

OPI - Barefoot in Barcelona ( BEWARE - Foot Picture!!!!!! )

Hey people,

if your get easy nauseous for seeing feet then you should probably not continue reading......

One of my bargains that I bought in Germany was OPI's Barefoot in Barcelona for only €2,90 at the airport (only cos I had the €10 coupon). Why I bought Barefoot in Barcelona is cos I lived in Barcelona for a half year and when I heard there was a color called "....Barcelona", I was intrigued on how it looked and if it was worth buying... well obviously it was since I have it here at home now.

Since I already had done my nails I had to use the other nails I have - on my feet :P

So here goes, my foot
Barefoot in Barcelona is a brown/nude polish with a hint of pink and it makes my toenails kind of blend in with the rest of the feet, which 6 o'clock in the morning is very terrifying.. I went half asleep to the toilet and almost freaked out cos of the nails.. well well...

I think it's a nice nude color!

I did buy some polishes in Madrid...but it wasn't much and I thought that it would have been more, but that was not the case this time..

I started of at Tiger at Calle Carretas ( http://www.tiger-stores.com/ ) where I bough this purple polish for €2

Then we went to Primark at Centro Comercial Plenilunio, where I bought this two sets of Caviar Polish, €3.50 each. Black polish with black caviar and white with sprinkles caviar. They also had a wide range of 4-pack polishes and stupid of me didn't bought one single one :(

I also bought this 4 container with glitter in the shades pink/purple for €1 (it said €1,50 but the guy had a good eye and made it cheaper ^_^ )

Then we finally went to KIKO... *yes*   There I only bought 3 polishes since I couldn't made up my mind....they have so many shades of the same color that I don't know what to do :/ well I did buy 374 Pearly Chocolate Noir, a very dark shade...it looks dark purple/brown in the bottle but is more black with goldie flakes when it comes out, then 401 Peacock Green and 400 Steel Grey both holo polishes that are super nice and there where on sale :)
