Geometrical nail art

Almost a year ago when I was on the plane home from Marrakesh I saw a picture of a manicure that I liked so I screenshot it so that I would be able to re-create it later.

Here is what I did. The white base is "White on White" from China Glaze the rest are nail art nail polishes from Kiss USA "Kiss Nail Art Paint" in Black, Silver Glitter, Soft Blue, Beach Pink and Soft Purple. Also the L.A Colors Art Deco in Bright Green and some miscellaneous from Walmart in Mexico.

Colorful nails for my friend's 27th Birthday

Today is my friend Sara's 27th birthday and this weekend we had the birthday celebrations. She invited us home to her place and we had snacks and drinks.

The theme for the party was colorful nails :) Yeay I say, just up my alley...

This was my contribution.

I started off by painting all my nails with White on White from China Glaze. After my nails had fully dried, I took a make up sponge and tore pieces of it so I could use it to do my colorful nails. I used Amazon....Amazoff, Formidably Orange, Ridiculously Yellow, Seriously Purple and Riotously Pink all from OPI.

With the make up sponge I dabbed on the different colors on the white base to create the colorful nails.

Sunshine

...was what we had 2 weeks ago when I took this picture

I used OPI "The "it" Color" and China Glaze "Electrify" from the Hunger Games collection, sadly you can't really see all the nice glitter coz of the bright sunshine on my nails.

Yellow/orange water marble

One of the polishes I got from my friend Rica was a yellow polish from Wet n wild - The Wonder Yellows, I used it as a base for a yellow and orange water marbling.

It's a shear yellow and this is after 2 layers. When it was dry enough I took out all the yellow and orange that I have in my Helmers and looked which ones that would fit for a water marbling.

Essence - 02 hello summer!
BarryM - Tangerine
H&M - Lemon Tree
OPI - it's a bird, it's a plane, it's OPI !
Rimmel - 280 Sunshine

I did a swirl on my ringfinger and water marble on my middle and index finger.

What I have been wearing (both hands and feet)

 Hello all,

so new day and a new post :) I have been bad on posting, but this was only due cos I didn't have my computer while I was on the trip, it was enough with cellphone..

I started of my trip with a very funny combination, unfortunately the picture is not good since it was already night, I was sitting in a car and the flash didn't wanna work... but yeah
 It's SinfulColors - 944 Innocent and Sally Hansen - 700 Wool Knot

after that I went liquid sand with OPI's Pussy Galore and Magazine cover mouse

Before leaving USA I painted my nails with OPI's - Can't find my Czechbook and SinfulColors - 940 Rise and Shine
When I came home I panted my nails with OPI's Hawaiian orchid and made small flowers with the Art Deco - Intense Pink and a yellow nail art pen that I have from before.

I got my toe nails done in Chinatown, don't ask me the name of the polish I only know that it was Orly, but I don't remember the name :/ which I regret that I didn't write down cos I like the color... Really nice people in the store, went spent almost 2 hrs there if I'm not mistaking, we talked about everything while they where doing my friends nails and then my toe nails.

(OH btw, if I get negative comments on my feet I will just assume it's cos your so damn jealous of my California tanned cute little feet, I don't think your feet is better looking then mine.....)

Yesterday I painted my nails with OPI's - Alcatraz.....rocks , one of the liquid sands from the new OPI collection called SAN FRANCISCO (convenient me being there and all this fall). It's a very nice and glittery blue liquid sand which my camera has a slight problem with since it can't focus cos of all the glitter that sparkles.

oh something extra...
Saturday I was in Stockholm for work, we had reunion with all the kids that went abroad this summer and there they where giving out magazines and when we where leaving, there where still a pile and I looked thru them and found one that had nailpolish :) SO this a Raspberry colored polish..

Piet Mondrian inspired nails

Many of you have probably seen this Yves Saint Laurent dress with the Mondrian motive. One of my ex-exchange students Kelly actually have one of this dresses and I saw, long time ago, a picture of her in it and thought it was a nice dress. After that I have seen many bloggers that have done this motive on their nails and I actually saved one in my file "to do". So today I finally made this nail art, a lot because I had white nail polish already on my nails , Maybelline - 130 Winter Baby.

I also used H&M - Lemon Tree, O.P.I - Eurso Euro, Kiss Nail Art Paint pen in black and nails inc. Limited edition - Will, for doing the color blocks on the white background

And this is the final result :) I really liked it and it was so easy to do. I didn't use any tape to do the straight lines, it's all free handed on to my nails.

Maybelline - Winter baby & Essence show your feet - 17 lemon sorbet (Feet pictures!!!!!!!)

Almost a year I have had Maybelline's - 130 Winter Baby. I bought it so I can paint my nails white if I was doing a nail design that required white polish base.

After about 4-5 layers my nails looked like this..... not so opac and I think to get a even more white color on the nails I would be required to add at least 2-3 layers more!
Winter Baby.... strange now when spring has arrived and it's like almost 20* C here in Sweden

Last time I traveled was to Germany, Hamburg and Bremen, and one of the many bargains I did was this essence polish from the show your feet collection with the name 17 lemon sorbet. Which cost me €0,90
I will spare you all the feet pictures and only post one of my big toe... gross enough :/
As you can see it really is in  the color of Lemon Sorbet since it is a light yellow polish.. I think it's like 2 or 3 layers of polish... I did them quick in the car since we where going to a party and I hadn't  done my toenails....
